Product Love Story: Black as Night

Boscia Lumizing Black Mask minimizing treatment is definitely a product I am truly in love with.I first laid eyes on this beaut in a Japanese magazine at first but didn’t know where to buy it. I searched and searched for the product but couldn’t find it anywhere. Why? The magazine forgot to list the name of the product! Heartbroken, I gave up my search for this product and continued to deal with my ever growing pores.

But don’t cry just yet! It was fate! Boscia reappeared again in my life, but this time online! So now I finally have the name of the product, but didn’t buy it online since the shipping cost was just outrageous. Ten bucks I say! After a little more research I finally reunited with my love at Sephora, of course.

This product is $34 for about 2.8 g. It's a bit pricey for such an amount, but I think that it’s definitely worth it. I actually debated it for two weeks, weighing the pros and cons. My two ultimate arguments were:

Pro: Positive reviews, it’ll improve my skin in the long run.
Con: If it does improve my skin, I’ll have to continuously buy the product.

In the end, I bought it!

My skin feels wonderful and I mean wonderful after wearing the mask. It was smooth and silky. My pores’s size hasn’t reduced as much as I wanted it too but it has definitely fixed my oil control problem. Now when I wear makeup, I don’t have to worry about my forehead or cheeks shining.

Oh and on a plus side, Sephora also added in the Clinque Pore Minimizing serum, which I have not tested out yet, but excited to try.

P.S. Please be careful when applying the mask. If you apply to close to your eyes, you will definitely cry! Cause I sure did.

Because I'm still excited

It around Midnight, and I can't stop obsessing over this blog set up, this will be my dairy entry for today.

What I really wanted to talk about was Legend of Korra. Yes, LOK is very awesome, but I can't help but notice it as a parallel to WWII somewhat freaky yet awesome at the same time. Its amazing how well thought out the plot line is, especially for what started out a a kids/young teen animation series. I absolutely love the relationship between the first series characters and the second series, though I wished they made Avatar: The Promise an animation so less viewers would be confused about the metal benders, the origin of Republic City, and the reason why Mako and Bolin are brothers yet have different bending abilities.

Also I have to say that I think the writers of the plotine must have watched Inuyasha and Naruto because Amon looks like Orochimaru and the love triangle between Mako, Korra and Asami is just too similar to I&K&K. Yep yep. However, the depth and sadness of the story is as epic as Naruto. For just a 12 episode run, the series has truly developed an amazing amount of attachment to the show!

Also I like to know more about Bei Fong Lin!

And one more thing, LOVE THE MUSIC SCORE to this series!

Nail Tutorial: Getting it out there!

Hi! So I know that this is still a little of the schedule I had planned out but it still counts as a nail tutorial!

So I've been interning for BeautyBender so far and I must say they are absolutely wonderful! Very enthusiastic people who love what they are doing! And I feel very lucky and proud to say that my nail tutorial is featured on their website! Yes, yes!

Here is a screenshot of almost the whole thing, I'll link you guys to the website for you all to see!

Its's called Stars and Stripes Nail Tutorial and this is the very first time I ever made a photo tutorial. Its a lot longer to make than a video tutorial. Usually the hardest part in editing a video is the music choice (my opinion since I have very bad taste in music).  However, I was very FRUSTRATED photographing and then designing the layout! You had no idea. But then it all clicked and worked out wonderfully! I am very pleased with the final product. Very pleased indeed.

Official Line Up

Still testing things out a little on this new layout, but I've come up with the future line up.

Monday will feature a Good Morning Weather section. You all will understand the reason for the title after an article is written.
Tuesday will be a Product Love Story. Moving on...
Wednesday will feature a Diary Section/Art Update
Thursday, on of my favorite days, is the preview to the upcoming nail tutorial.
Friday, another Product Love Story + Mischievous Moments, and the Official Nail Tutorial
Saturday is ... Finger Activities. Don't judge me! You also will understand the reason for the title once an article has been put up!
Last is Sunday! Will be a Taking a Break Section

So I hope that you readers are excited for this line up! I definitely am! Hurrah for summer opening new doors!

Changing It Up!

H e y !

So I'm actually writing this the 4th time already so by now my enthusiasm has diminished to a very sad and low point.(T~T) ehehe, but no worries! I can hype myself up again!

Anyways, I'm decided to delete my old blog account and start a new one! Why? Because its time to turn over a new leaf and rid myself of my l a z i n e s s. (Really inspired by Meelo from LOK, be the leaf!)

The changes expected to happen:

1. Weekly updates about upcoming nail tutorials
2. Little bits and pieces of my day/ the Appune's Diary part
3. Product Love Stories
4. Mischievous moments. ehehe a surprise section!

Also there will be MORE PHOTOS instead of just text since seeing only text can get a little boring.

So I hope you're excited for the new changes cause I am!
